This is the best selling wireless ergonomic mouse with more than 11,500+ reviews on Amazon. It is also the top-rated ergonomic mouse based on customer verified reviews.
This is also the ergonomic mouse that I am using currently and have found it to be an absolute delight.
Logitech products are one of the finest in the computer accessory category. This ergonomic mouse is no different.
The best part about this mouse is that you don’t have to move your wrist or arm to use it. There is a trackball that you can use with your thumb to manage the cursor. Performance-wise, the trackball usage is very efficient and allows precision in cursor movement.
You can use it when working on any surface such as a table, couch, or even bed.
It’s a wireless ergonomic mouse with a range of 30 feet. This is more than enough for your work.
It also has a battery life of 18 months, which means that your AA size battery would work for at least over a year before it needs a replacement. There is also a battery life indicator that lets you know when you’re about to run out of battery.
The mouse has 4 buttons (left/right click and previous/next page buttons) and a scroll wheel. You can also use the free software at Logitech to program the buttons to get common tasks done quickly.
This can also double up as a gaming mouse and you can program the buttons according to the game (for example, you can customize the cursor speed).
Note that this mouse is made right-handed people only. If you’re left-handed, this mouse is not for you. But if you’re right-handed, this is one of the best ergonomic mouse.

This is one of the best ergonomic mouse for wrist pain. It’s also the one I use on a daily basis. It’s priced appropriately and scores high on comfort and ease of use. It’s the only mouse in this list that doesn’t need you to move your hand or wrist to use it. This ensures that there is a minimal strain on your wrist.
One feature that differentiates this mouse from every other mouse in the list is its scroll-based use. This allows the user to use it effectively on almost any surface (including bed and couch). This can not be achieved with other optical ergonomic mouse mentioned in this review.
The reason I didn’t give a perfect score is that I feel it could have been better with a little more curve in the design. Also, while the trackball works perfectly, you may have to clean it from time to time.

This is a vertical wireless mouse which means you can hold it as if you’re shaking hand with someone.

The vertical handshake design makes this a perfect ergonomic mouse. It’s priced appropriately and scores extremely high on comfort and ease of use.
It comes with the auto-sleep feature which makes the battery last longer (not every mouse in this review has auto-sleep).
I have scored it the same as Logitech M570, however, these two are quite different. While this is one ranks high on its design and comfort, Logitech M570 scores highly due to the ease of use on any surface (even couch and bed).

EV Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Mouse Review
No products found.
Designed at a 75-degree vertical angle, the EV vertical ergonomic mouse ensures your hand is in a neutral posture. This helps avoid the strain that is otherwise exerted when using a regular mouse.
It is built to make sure that your entire hand can rest on the mouse. There is some space where your pinky finger can rest and it doesn’t drag on the surface while using the mouse.
It has 7 breathing lights that give it a cool look. However, it also drains the battery. Luckily, there is an ON/OFF/Light button that allows you to completely switch off the mouse or use it without the breathing lights.
There are four levels of DPI which ensures that you can use it in different scenarios. For example, you may use it at 1000 or 1800 DPI for regular work and 2500 DPI for gaming.
There are six buttons on the mouse – left/right-click, previous/next button, scroll wheel, and DPI switch.
It’s a rechargeable mouse. You can charge the mouse by using the micro recharge cable (which comes with the mouse). A single charge is good enough for a few days to even a couple of weeks. You can also continue to use the mouse when it’s plugged in for charging.
It’s a plug-and-play mouse where you don’t need to install any driver.
It comes in two sizes – large and small.

Apart from the left/right-click buttons and the scroll, it has two additional buttons – one where your thumb rests and a windows button. You can use Microsoft software to assign these buttons to anything. For example, you may assign the thumb to the back button.
It has a great design and works well with a smooth surface (such as tables). However, it wouldn’t work with clear glass or mirrored surfaces.
It has an average battery life and is expected to work 6-8 months on a set of AA batteries. It does have a battery indicator that lets you know when you need a replacement.

What Does Ergonomic Mean?
Anything that is ergonomic is made to be comfortable and efficient in your working environment.
You must have heard of the terms such as ergonomic seats or chairs. These indicate that it helps you be extremely comfortable without causing any strain or discomfort to your body.
A lot of awareness is spreading about ergonomics and people are switching to more and more ergonomic products in their workplace.
Regular Mouse Vs. Ergonomic Mouse
While a regular mouse does the work alright, it is hard on your wrist and fingers. A lot of people complain of minor discomfort after prolonged use of the regular mouse.
If used over a period of time, it can lead to pain in the wrist, forearm, and elbows.
An ergonomic mouse is built to make sure there is no or minimal impact on your wrist and hands. It’s easy to use and can help relieve pain in case you already feel some discomfort while using the regular mouse.
If you’re in a hurry, here are recommendations for the 3 best ergonomic mouse for wrist pain
What to Consider when buying an Ergonomic Mouse?
When it comes to buying an ergonomic mouse, there are a few things you need to know to keep an informed choice of buying an ergonomic mouse.
The ergonomic shape of the Mouse
There are different ergonomic mouse listed in this review with slight variations in the shapes. For example, there is a vertical mouse, horseshoe-shaped mouse, slightly twisted ergonomic shape, etc.
If you’re already suffering from carpal tunnel or any other wrist/hand pain issues, I suggest you opt for a vertical mouse. Anker 2.4G vertical mouse is my top pick for a vertical ergonomic mouse (its vertical shape makes it one of the best ergonomic mouse for pinky pain).
DPI Values
DPI stands for Dots Per Inch. It is a measure of the sensitivity of a mouse.
DPI value determines how much your cursor moves when you move the mouse. When you increase the DPI value of a mouse, a slight movement from the mouse would lead to a large movement of the cursor on the screen.
If you’re looking for an ergonomic mouse for regular office work, you need not worry about DPI. The normal DPI value (800-1600) should be fine for you. But if you’re into gaming, video editing, or photo editing, and work with a large screen, you may find working with higher DPI values more useful.
To give you an example, if you’re working with PowerPoint and want to select all the object in a large area of the screen, using high DPI will make sure you don’t have to move the mouse a lot. A slight movement of the mouse will move the cursor to a large extent. Similarly, if you’re editing photos and want extreme precision, you may want to reduce the DPI setting.
Number of Buttons
Most of the mouse listed in this review comes with the following five buttons:
- Left-click
- Right-click
- Next button (for web surfing)
- Previous button (for web surfing)
- DPI Switch (to switch between DPI values)
I suggest you pick a mouse that has these buttons.
Battery Life
The ergonomic mouse mentioned in this review are either use an external battery (AA or AAA) or can rechargeable. In both cases, it is important to opt for an ergonomic mouse that has high battery life.
You don’t want to keep a carton full of batteries just because your mouse runs of it quickly.
Note that some of the ergonomic mouse have an auto-sleep feature (Anker 2.4G vertical mouse) that helps in saving battery life.
Logitech M570 – which is also my choice of the best ergonomic mouse – has a high battery life and a single battery charge lasts for up to 18 months.
Some FAQs about Using Ergonomic Mouse for Wrist Pain
Does a vertical mouse help with wrist pain?
Yes, a vertical mouse can help with wrist pain. A regular mouse puts your arm in an unnatural position and can cause pain in the wrist, elbow, and shoulder. A vertical mouse keeps your arm in a more natural position, which can help relieve pain.
Another possibility is that using a vertical mouse encourages healthier wrist alignment, which can help to reduce inflammation and pain.
Do ergonomic mice help with carpal tunnel?
There is some evidence that using an ergonomic mouse can help with carpal tunnel, as it may reduce the amount of strain on your hands and wrists.
However, it’s important to note that there is no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to ergonomic mice – what works for one person may not work for another.
So if you’re experiencing carpal tunnel symptoms, it’s best to consult with a doctor or physical therapist to find out which type of mouse would be best for you.
Do ergonomic mice make a difference?
Yes, ergonomic mice make a difference. The design of an ergonomic mouse is meant to reduce the amount of stress and strain put on your hand and arm, which can cause pain or other injuries.
There are a few things you can do to make sure you’re using an ergonomic mouse in the best way possible:
- First, make sure you’re sitting up straight with your shoulders back
- Secondly, adjust the height of your chair so that your elbows are at a 90-degree angle when your hands are resting on the desk
- Thirdly, position your mouse so that it’s directly in front of you and as close to your body as possible.
Do ergonomic mouse pads work?
There is some evidence that ergonomic mouse pads may help to reduce discomfort and pain in the hand and arm, but the jury is still out on whether they actually work or not. Some people swear by them, while others find no difference whatsoever.
Personally, I’ve used a couple of different brands of ergonomic mouse pads and have found that they do help a little bit.
But everyone’s body is different, so you may want to try one out for yourself and see if it makes a difference.
Conclusion
This review list some of the most popular ergonomic mouse.
If you’re plagued with carpal tunnel or wrist/hand/pinky pain, you must consider buying an ergonomic mouse and an ergonomic mouse pad.
Vertical mouse are quite effective when it comes to wrist and finger pain and it allows you to keep the fingers in a more natural position.
