There is a tilt lockout handle that locks the chair in an upright or vertical position. If you don’t want the lean back function you can lock it in an upright position. The reclining tilt can go pretty much far back without worrying about the seat becoming unstable.
The arms can be rocked slightly by loosening the bolts at the bottom. Rock it forward or back, then tighten the bolts.
If you want to use the chair sometimes without the arms, you can do it. Both arms can be removed and put on very easily. There are two bolts on each which can be loosened and removed and the arms come off easily. However, there are no buttons or levers to remove the arms.
The different height adjustments help to contour ergonomically to different body shapes. They help to relax muscles and remove neck and shoulder pain.

What we Didn’t Like
The castors are quite stubborn on carpets and do not move very well.
It is a very heavy chair and weighs a good 51 pounds!
This chair will not fit too large or people having good height. Like if you are 5’10 or over, it might not fit your body as you want. It is ideal for petite persons. I would highly recommend you check it out before purchasing.
The ‘back in motion’ pivot sometimes does not work. The pivot can be uncomfortable sometimes with the back pad pushing you making you feel as if you are slipping off the chair as reported by some users. However, it has terrific lumbar support that curves naturally with the back.
The armrests width distance is fixed and cannot be adjusted. That might be a little uncomfortable for certain stature of people.
The chair does not have a good headrest. Although it does offer a good shoulder, neck and head support, the headrest is not ergonomically designed.
As with most office chairs, it won’t come assembled. Assembling it takes a good amount of 30 minutes and is not very easy.
The warranty is only for a year. The cushion and backrest tend to wear out with time. Bonded leather also wears out with time. The pneumatic lift becomes less smooth with prolonged usage.
